Use of Mama Koala Pocket Cloth Diaper :
-Wash and dry your diaper once in warm water (up to 40°C/104°F) with detergent prior to first use. Hang or tumble dry on low.
-Snap diaper rise to proper size setting.
-Select the proper insert and insert through the pocket opening, placing it inside the diaper. For overnight use, you may put extra inserts to increase the diaper’s absorbency.
-Fasten diaper to baby. Make sure no gaps around the baby’s legs.
-It is recommended to change your baby’s diaper every 2-3 hours and wash it every 1-2days.
-Mama Koala recommends a minimum of 24 diapers to cloths diaper FULL TIME for your baby.

Washing Suggestion for Mama Koala Pocket Cloth Diaper and Inserts:
* We know that there are many ways to wash cloth diapers. Wash routines are not one size fits all. It depends on the detergent you use, your washing machines, water hardness levels, etc. Along your cloth diaper journey, you will come up with your own system that works best for you. You may refer to steps below for first starting out.
?STEP 1: When you change the cloth diaper for your baby
If your baby poop, drop and dump the solids into the toilet bowl. Clean the cloth diaper and inserts (depend on condition) with sprayed water and remove the excess water.
If your baby pee, remove inserts from cloth diapers.
You can store your dirty diapers in a waterproof diaper bag or a dry pail. Do not store in a wet pail.

?STEP 2: Prewash with small amount of detergent
Prewash also named as SPEED Mode by some washing machine manufacturer. Select the fastest washing mode on your washing machine and pour small amount of detergent.

?STEP 3: Normal wash with recommended amount of detergent for the appropriate load size
Set your washing machine to regular washing mode like your daily washing. Pour detergent according to load size determined by your washing machine.

?STEP 4: Drying
Hang or tumble dry on low.

ADDITIONAL TIPS :
?For new cloth diapers, please pre-washed before using so the diapers fluff up and achieve optimal softness and absorbency.
?For new hemp or bamboo inserts, please wash them 3 to 6 times before use for maximum absorbency.
?Do not use hot water to wash because it will shorten the service life of the elastics and TPU in diaper.
?Avoid soaking your diapers in water, detergents, or additives because soaking can damage the TPU (the waterproofing layer) and elastic of your diapers.
