Yellow Gardenia Bulb (Jasmine)

Grown for their fragrant flowers and handsome foliage (gardenia augusta/gardenia jasminoides) are popular ornamentals. In hot climates, like ours, they grow best with morning sun and afternoon shades or light filtered shades under tall trees.

How to plant the bulb:
– select an area preferably that has morning sun with afternoon shades
– make sure the soil is well-drained to avoid rot
– loosen the soil and remove weeds and stones. Mix
some peat moss or coco coir to improve drainage
– dig, either a trench or individual holes at a depth of
twice the height of the bulb, minimum 2inches, with
the pointed part facing upwards and the roots,
downwards
